I feel compelled to share my terrible online shopping experience as a cautionary tale. My frustration stems from paying a $19.95 “next day delivery” fee, only to receive an email hours later stating my order would take “3 business days.” What followed was agony: an automated phone line, a useless live chat bot, and six unanswered emails asking for my delivery fee refund. Even when I finally reached a human, they just passed the buck. My order, despite having “Plano lenses” with no prescription, was placed on Feb 18th and wasn’t delivered until Feb 24th. This place is nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers. They are a fraud, ripping customers off for services they charge for and do NOT provide.
Customer: I’m calling about order [Order Number]. I paid $19.95 for “next day delivery” on February 18th, but my glasses didn’t arrive until February 24th, even though your site promised “next day.” I was told it would take 3 business days, and it took longer, for Plano lenses. CS Rep: I apologize for the significant delay with your next-day delivery and the frustrating experience. I understand your disappointment. Let me pull up your order with that number, please. Customer: Yes, it’s [Order Number]. I also tried reaching out multiple times through email and chat, but only got automated responses or no reply. I want a refund for that $19.95 delivery fee. CS Rep: I see the order now. I’m very sorry for the lack of communication and the automated system issues. You are absolutely right; you paid for a service that wasn’t provided. I’m initiating a full refund of the $19.95 next-day delivery fee to your original payment method immediately. Customer: Thank you for that, but it doesn’t change how completely ripped off I feel on the service. It’s unacceptable to charge for something you don’t deliver, and ignore customers. The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap of paying for services not rendered and dealing with such poor customer support.
